Understanding and Implementing Lock Out – Tag Out

This seminar shows you how to establish and maintain an effective energy control program that satisfies the OSHA regulation. An effective program has three components: procedures, training, and inspection. The seminar explains when a procedure is required and identifies the elements of an effective procedure. Training requirements differ by the employee’s role (authorized, affected, or other). The seminar covers the training requirements for each role as well required records, certification, and retraining. Inspection supports the effective implementation of the program. The seminar explains how to schedule and conduct inspections and use the results for continuous improvement. The seminar provides sample procedures and uses case studies to illustrate the techniques. You will also get the Ombu LOTO Toolkit, a collection of Excel spreadsheets to help understand and implement many of the seminar concepts.

Understanding and Implementing Hazard Communication

This seminar shows you how to establish and maintain an effective Hazardous Communication program that satisfies the OSHA regulation. An effective program has specific components: a written program, labels and warnings, material safety data sheets, and employee training. The seminar explains how to develop your written program using OSHA’s performance based model. Employees need training on both the hazards in the MSDS system and the labels and warnings. The seminar offers an integrated approach to these three requirements. The seminar provides sample procedures and uses case studies to illustrate the techniques. You will also get the Ombu HazCom Toolkit, a collection of Excel spreadsheets to help understand and implement many of the seminar concepts.
